Muhammad Ali

Last week I made a DLO on Muhammad Ali who died this month. He was the best boxer back in the day. My parents and teachers were very sad that this legendary boxer had to go. Rest In Peace Muhammad Ali.

Character Photo

This week for homework we didn't have a person to research about, so our teachers told us to do a activity from the Holiday Reading. This activity is called "Character Photo". I chose a character from my book I read last holiday called Pounamu Pounamu. When I chose my character, my sisters to a photo of me dressed up like her. In my homework I have also explained who my character was in the book and what she did to help the main character, plus her personality.

Kate Sheppard

Anne Frank

William Henry Fox Talbot

This was our first DLO about home learning for Term 2. This term we are researching about people this time. Our first person today was about Henry Fox Talbot. He invented salted paper and the calotype. If you want to read more, read this slide or the references we  put on the 5th slide.

Statue of Liberty

For the last week of homework this term we research the statue of Liberty. I have learnt quite a few things from researching this. Did you know that you can walk up to the statue of Liberty's crown! Grand palace Bangkok

My partner Fifita and I have been searching up the Grand palace of Bangkok. We both learned a lot about this landmark. What I found surprising was that they first built the palace entirely out of wood, then later got bit and parts from a destroyed city. This place is really interesting to learn about. Great Mosque of Herat
