Today all the year 8's this afternoon have been doing our life education booklets. Our booklet talks about making decision, whether it would be a good or bad one. It also talks about our organs in our body and how they work. Did you know our feelings connect not just to our brain but also our heart? When we make decisions, our brain sends messages to different parts of our body. When we wave hello to somebody, the brain sends a message to the hand saying to move up and wave from side to side. Our brain is just fascinating like that. I still have not read this whole book yet.

Life Education booklets

Life Education
Today we had our first session at the Life Education bus (the Harold bus). Nicole was teaching us about our body systems and which part of the brain holds our emotions. We were also talking about our nerves/reactions, circulatory (to do with our blood), and our muscles. In this picture, Nicole is showing us on her screen the heart. We would talking about how come our heart looks like this and not a love heart like we see in emoji's and stuff. Then we also talked about how our emotions connect not just to our brain, but our heart too.
