Today for reading we were making a DLO on a current event that happened last month. This was called "The Big Sleep Out". I also made a current event DLO when the people were sleeping in cars. This event was to help raise money for the homeless.

A Car is not a Home!
This week our class has chosen a current event to research about. I picked the event in Mangere where the people were camping in their cars because they were sorry about all those homeless people living in their cars on the side of the streets. In this DLO it includes when this happened, why it happened, and my thought of this.
