Our talk on Get Wise

Today we had a inspiring man called Jeremy to talk to us about GetWise. His talk on GetWise was how we could be better at saving money. For example, we could get a bank account. A bank account can be really useful to put all your money in. If you keep on putting money in your bank, you can receive interest. Interest is extra money the banks awards you for saving your money in your bank. He has a saying that goes " Spend Some On you, Save Some Too".
He also talked to us about what we can do to get some money. Like doing chores, selling and trading, garage sales, and even doing jobs for your neighbour. Then, as you get older, you can start working in places like fast food places ( KFC, McDonalds, Fish n Chip, ect), in a supermarket, a waiter or waitress, and more. When you do jobs like these, always do your very best. People are watching you all the time, even if you don't know it. You never know if the manager might get you to do something even BETTER.
But there was a really important topic he talked about was "Cross Roads". This means you can choose the "easy" road, or the "hard" road. You come across a whole lot of cross roads in your life. For example, if your friend tells you to steal something from the shop, the easy road would be doing it. The hard road would be saying NO.
These lessons Jeremy was teaching were very inspirational, motivational, and awesome. He is a very nice and funny guy. He made his speech about GetWise really fun. I really liked his stories he told about how he use to work at the supermarket. It really show he is passionate about all his things he talked about. He did a great job.
